Bawdy Badges
Although they appear rather rude to modern minds these badges were important to medieval people as it was believed that wearing them would deter evil spirits. For more information on this type of badge please refer to the ‘History’ section of the website.
X5-A phallus pendant
As with those noted above, parallels for this type of badge can be found in the Roman Fascina badges, which were very commonly used. The original was lacking its suspender badge and so we supply a form of suspender that was very commonly used for all manner of pendants.
